Thanks to the generosity of two Littleton residents, $90,000 has been pledged to the Reuben Hoar Library Building Fund to match all donations of the residents.

Where:

Located on the "slope" behind the current location of the Library & Town Offices, the building will create a campus like setting for all Town buildings. The ball fields and sledding hill are not affected.
Cost:

The architect's estimate of the cost is $13.1M including adjustments for inflation. An MBLC grant will cover approximately 47% to bring the cost to the town to approximately $7M.

The Library Trustees have been fundraising through their annual drive to offset the cost.

The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) has announced their 2017 construction grant awards. Grants on the list are awarded on a rolling basis as state funds are available. Littleton is fifth on the wait list, with an award amount of $5,844,747.00 for our library. Official Award Letter
